INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) was notified this past Friday of Bellarmine University’s intent to resign from the GLVC following the 2019-20 academic year in order to reclassify as an NCAA Division I institution and become a member of the ASUN Conference.

The following is a statement on behalf of GLVC Commissioner Jim Naumovich and the Conference’s 15 member institutions:

“Bellarmine University has been a valued member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference since its inception in 1978.  We appreciate their contributions to the league and wish them well.”
