The fifth place is the highest UC has been in the standings and it&#8217;s the second straight year that the Patriots are inside the top-ten at this point.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s swim team won their sixth-straight MSC championship and finished third at the NAIA national championships to notch 85 points.\u00a0 The Patriots captured three individual NAIA national champions as Mendy De Rooi was named the NAIA Swimmer of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>Men&#8217;s wrestling tallied 80 points for their fourth-place finish at nationals.\u00a0 The four-time MSC regular season champions had four wrestlers garner All-American honors.\u00a0 Tres Leon captured the NAIA National Title at the 149 lbs. weight class to cap off his senior season.<\/p>\n<p>Both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s track &amp; field teams placed at nationals to earn points for the Patriots.\u00a0 The women&#8217;s team earned 31.5 points for their 41<sup>st<\/sup> place finish, while the men&#8217;s team finished tied for 60<sup>th<\/sup> to earn ten points.<\/p>\n<p>Lindsey Wilson leads the Learfield Directors&#8217; Cup with 559 points, while Indiana Wesleyan and Eastern Oregon are second and third, respectfully. Mid-South Conference schools Life (25<sup>th<\/sup>), Cumberland (38<sup>th<\/sup>), Campbellsville (48<sup>th<\/sup>), and Shawnee State (52<sup>nd<\/sup>) are also mentioned in the standings.<\/p>\n<p>The Learfield Sports Directors&#8217; Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
